Saeed Al-Thabahi
Qai Tech was founded by Saeed Al-Thabahi, an engineer working at the intersection of intelligent systems and applied artificial intelligence. His background spans smart-systems engineering and a Master’s degree in AI.
He is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Birmingham (Department of Political Science and International Studies), researching the strategic politics of drone technology in the Gulf — regulatory frameworks and regional security amid great-power competition.
That dual track — building frontier technology while studying the policy that governs it — shapes how Qai Tech approaches autonomy, security, and responsible engineering.
